World Population Day | 11th July | Himachal Pariksha

World Population Day was recommended by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989. 11 July 1990 was when the day was fll'St observed in over 90 countries. The idea behind this commemoration was to draw focus on population issues and the importance of family planning.
